Zinchenko Scored An Assist To Help Arsenal Get Off To A Good Start

On Friday, August 5, Arsenal of London beat Crystal Palace (2-0) away in the opening match of the 2022/23 Premier League season. Zinchenko spent 83 minutes on the pitch.

The Cannoneers opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Gabriel Martinelli put in a pass for Ukraine's Oleksandr Zinchenko, who had recently joined the team.

Beginners' luck
The London derby opened the programme of the 1st round of the AFL. Both newcomers - former Manchester City players Aleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus - were named in Arsenal's starting line-up. The Brazilian forward created the first attacking chance, fouling several opponents. The ball bounced to Martinella who missed the spot-kick.

Zinchenko, who had emerged on the left flank of defence, was one of Arsenal's most active players. At the start of the game he shot dangerously from outside the box, made a spectacular break through the front post and, finally, assisted. The Cannoneers opened the scoring on 20 minutes. After a corner, Sascha headed the ball into the net before Martinelli planted the ball into the net.

Crystal Palace woke up just before the break
Ramsdale's first kick on goal nearly resulted in a score. The Arsenal keeper made a brilliant save to deny Edouard. Arteta's team were in complete control of the game and rightly went into the break with a minimal advantage.

However, already in the second half, Arsenal seemed to have been substituted. The visitors were twice frankly lucky after lapses in defense. Eze, in particular, failed to convert one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The Cannoneers responded with Jesús' half-chance, but legendary Vieira's men kept on dictating their terms.

Only a goalless own-goal from Guleha allowed Zinchenko and company to breathe a sigh of relief. Crystal Palace's defender cut the ball into his own net following a cross from Sak - 0-2. Our all-rounder had been substituted a little earlier by Turney. The Eagles had no energy or time to react.

Successful debut
So, Zinchenko will make his debut for Arsenal in the AFL with an away win. The Ukrainian's side take on Leicester in the next round. The match will take place on 13 August. "Crystal Palace" will decide the stronger side two days later away against Liverpool.

Alexander has rightly received the highest rating of any Arsenal player by SofaScore - 7.5. He completed 40 passes with more than 80% accuracy, 3 steals, 5 rebounds and won half of his tackles (5 from 10). An assist, 2 assists and 1 shot on goal rounded out the Ukrainians' successful debut.

In addition to watching the championship, the demand for betting is also growing. For example, Vulkan bet on football offers high odds on the top positions in the spreadsheet, a moderate percentage of margin in play and pre-match. This can't fail to attract the attention of fans who live bet.
