The University of Wyoming women's golf team continues its spring season Monday at the 12th annual Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona.
The Cowgirls are coming off a last-place finish at the MountainView Collegiate at Tucson, Arizona, last weekend. Gabrielle Gibson led UW as she tied for 45th place with a 13-0ver 229.
At last year's tournament Wyoming had three golfers in the top 30 en route to an eighth-place team finish. This year's field consists of 20 teams, including Mountain West schools Boise State and Nevada.
