Wyoming indoor track and field teams enjoy solid performances

Competing at two venues, the University of Wyoming indoor track and field teams posted some solid performances Saturday.

At the Husky Classic in Seattle, Cowboy sophomore Daniel Hintz ran the mile in 4 minutes, 6.09 seconds to finish 33rd in a stacked field. Hintz's time moved him into the No. 6 spot all-time in the UW record book.

Also in Seattle, Bryce Ailshie was 10th in the 800 with a time of 1:51.59 and Ricky Faure (Rock Springs) was 16th in 1:53.45.

At the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., Ja'la Henderson placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 41 feet, 9.
