Six Cowboy wrestlers learn fate as NCAA Tournament bracket released

The bracket for next week's NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Cleveland were released on Wednesday, giving all six qualifying Wyoming wrestlers a path toward a possible national championship.

Leading the field is three-time qualifier Bryce Meredith, who will enter as the No. 1 seed at 141 pounds. Redshirt freshman Montorie Bridges received the No. 8 seed at 133 pounds and Archie Colgan the No. 9 seed at 157 pounds. Junior Branson Ashworth (174) received a No. 14 seed while Chaz Polson (184) and Sam Turner (149) will enter the tournament unseeded.

This is the second appearance at the national tournament for Ashworth and Colgan.
