The University of Wyoming had 54 student-athletes named to the Fall 2017 Academic All-Mountain West team, which was announced Wednesday.
Wyoming's selections included 17 from the football team, 14 off the women's soccer team, 11 from volleyball and six each in men's and women's cross-country.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.0 while serving as a starter or a significant contributor on their respective athletic team.
