Balanced attack lifts Wyoming volleyball over Colorado State

The Wyoming volleyball team put together a complete performance Tuesday night to defeat rival Colorado State 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-14, 25-18) at the UniWyo Sports Complex.

Jackie McBride led the Cowgirls (11-6, 3-2 Mountain West) at the net with a team-high 10 kills and a career-high nine blocked shots.

Wyoming also got nine kills from Faith Waitsman and seven apiece from Reed Copeland and Tara Traphagan. Setters Cori Aafedt (20) and Marissa Hines (16) combined for 36 assists.

Defensively, libero Madi Fields had a match-high 18 digs to move into ninth on the Cowgirls' all-time list with 1,001 in her career.
