The Texas Longhorns had an extremely tumultuous weekend that started with freshman cornerback Kris Boyd retweeting a tweet suggesting he'd transfer from the school during halftime of their 50-7 loss to TCU and ended with rumblings of Charlie Strong being on the hot seat, but the drama isn't over in Austin.
When speaking to the media on Monday, junior safety Dylan Haines explained what he thought the problem was surrounding Texas' 1-4 start:
“Along the lines of I think people need to step up and people need to grow up. I don't want to get too detailed and I don't want to name any names, but people need to grow up and take things more seriously. If you're not playing and you want to play then you've got to do extra work. There's a reason you're not playing. There's a reason you're behind someone else – because that player is better than you at the moment. If you want to be better than him you've got to do something extra. It's as simple as that.
"I wouldn't there's a strong, written divide or a strong resistance between freshmen and seniors, or freshmen and juniors, but there's definitely... everyone's not on the same page. That's why we're playing the way we're playing and that's why the season is going the way it's going.”
Those comments were not taken kindly by some of the younger Longhorns players, and true freshman defensive end Charles Omenihu voiced his frustrations on Twitter:

Omenihu has since deleted that tweet as well as another that said: "People get in front of cameras and just talk their heads off always remember think before you speak 100."

It's clear that there's growing frustration within the Texas locker room and not everyone is on the same page. The Longhorns next game is Saturday against No. 10 Oklahoma.
