3 Players The Titans Could Take In The First Round Of The NFL Draft

Now that the Tennessee Titans have swung a major trade with the Los Angeles Rams, the question around the team is who the Titans will pick in the first round. The Titans hold the No. 15 overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft after trading down with the Rams.

The Titans are continuing their rebuilding process. The Titans won't get quite the player at No. 15 as they would have if they had moved down, but the extra picks more than make up for it. The Titans are looking for an impact starter at No. 15 overall, and there are several options for the team. Here are three players the Titans could take with the No. 15 overall pick:

3. Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

The Titans badly need corner help. They have Perrish Cox and are hoping Jason McCourty will bounce back, but those are the only reliable players on the roster. The team signed Antwon Blake and Brice McCain this offseason, but those two are No. 4 corners at best. The Titans need to spend add a draft pick, and Alexander could be on the board when the Titans pick in Round 1. If he's not, players like Ohio State's Eli Apple and Houston's William Jackson should be. If the Titans don't take a CB in the first round, they could do so in the second.

2. ILB Reggie Ragland, Alabama

The Titans have Wesley Woodyard at one ILB spot, but are going to start either Sean Spence or Avery Williamson at the other. That's not ideal and moving down to No. 15 puts them in position to draft Ragland. A perfect fit for the 3-4 defense, Ragland could be a quality starter on Day 1 in the NFL. 1. OT Jack Conklin, Michigan State

Offensive line is a major need for the Titans, as they've had problems keeping quarterback Marcus Mariota upright and healthy. The team was heavily linked to Laremy Tunsil at No. 1 overall, so it makes sense they could take an OT at No. 15. Conklin looks like the No. 3 OT in this year's class, and he'd be a strong RT for the Titans. If Conklin is gone, Ohio State's Taylor Decker could be an option.
