3 Reasons Why The 49ers Are Guaranteed To Beat The Bucs This Weekend

The San Francisco 49ers are sliding thanks to a five-game losing streak, and they'll try to get their season back on track on Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. San Francisco is the heavy underdog in this game, but we think an upset might be in order. Here are three reasons why the 49ers will win on Sunday:

3) Tampa Bay's road woes
It's usual for a young team like the Bucs to struggle on the road, but they really haven't been good. In their last 27 games away from Tampa, they are just 8-19. That's certainly not a good mark, and when coupled with the fact that the 49ers are 5-6 in home games over the last season and a half (compared to just 1-8 on the road), San Francisco looks like they could continue that trend.

2) Jameis Winston's turnover problem
Tampa's struggles this year can be largely attributed to turning the ball over - which is a HUGE problem with Jameis Winston. He ranks second in the NFL in interceptions thrown (eight), nearly two per game. Considering that the 49ers rank in the top 10 in the league in takeaways, they should make a couple of game-changing plays by forcing turnovers.

1) San Francisco's running game
For all the struggles the 49ers have in the passing game, they rank fifth in the league in rushing - and second in rushing touchdowns. All of the running backs have flourished in Kelly's system, and the Bucs are just an average defense against the run. With Kaepernick becoming more comfortable in the offense (and leading the team in rushing last game), look for San Francisco to have a lot of success on the ground on Sunday.
