Penn State men's volleyball dominated in loss to Princeton

Penn State’s straight-set loss to Princeton on Friday night was more about what it didn’t accomplish than what it did.

Princeton gained an early lead against Penn State in the first set because of its ability to capitalize on Penn State’s serving and offensive errors.

The first set was a back-and-forth affair, but Penn State gave up more points than Princeton, with 13 errors for Penn State and 8 for Princeton.

The hitters on both teams frequently targeted open spaces on the court and neither defense was able to keep up. The Nittany Lions had 13 kills and the Tigers had 10.
