Penn State baseball takes on rival Ohio State in pivotal weekend series

In any sport, it’s not about how you start, but rather how you finish.

With the second half of the season underway, Penn State believes there is still time to turn its 2018 campaign around.

The Nittany Lions will get a chance to do just that this weekend, as they welcome Ohio State to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for a three-game set.

“I don’t feel like our guys have quit at all,” coach Rob Cooper said. “We’re very, very close to punching through.”

Penn State is coming off a 3-2 loss at the hands of West Virginia on Tuesday night, in what was a 10-inning walk-off affair at PNC Park.
