Penn State will enter the 2018 with some key pieces from last year’s team missing on both sides of the ball. Stars like Saquon Barkley, Jason Cabinda and Marcus Allen have moved on, leaving opportunities for other guys to step up. Another position that has a key hole to fill is tight end. Mike Gesicki, who left college as one of the best tight ends in the nation, left a huge space for the Nittany Lions to fill this year.
There’s not much experience on the tight end depth chart, but the guy with the most, Jonathan Holland, will enter with the upper-hand at nabbing the starting position.
