The Notre Dame Fighting Irish landed a commitment from three-star defensive end Jamir Jones (Rochester, NY),the brother of current Irish defensive lineman Jarron Jones, according to 247 sports.
Notre Dame offered the 6'3", 220-pounder follow a work out on campus today, and he committed on-site.
Jones chose Notre Dame over Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Syracuse.
