As of now, all intel points towards RJ Davis returning for the North Carolina Tar Heels for one last season in 2024-25. That would be especially big for Carolina considering that Davis led UNC with 21.2 points per game and knocked down just under 40% of his three-point attempts last season. For his efforts, he was named ACC Player of the Year in 2023-24. It’s not every year that you can just return the winner of that award for another season.
In fact, only two previous Tar Heels who’ve won ACC Player of the Year have ended up returning for another season after that.
