Power Ranking The Top 10 1st And 2nd Year WRs Right Now in the NFL

Ever since the 2014 NFL Draft where talented young wide receivers were selected like Mike Evans, Odell Beckham Jr, and Jarvis Landry in the first round, wide receivers have been held to an incredibly high standard. Over the last two seasons, the wide receiver talent hasn't been up to the 2014 and 2015 draft class but there still is plenty of young talented players.  Many franchises are relying on these young wide receivers so I went and did a power ranking of the top 10 best wide receivers who have been drafted in the last two years, if you agree or disagree with my power ranking then share your opinion with me on Twitter @MitchellRenz365.

10.) Zay Jones -  Buffalo Bills
Jones was drafted in the second round of this year's NFL draft and started his rookie season slow but over his last three games has been playing much better. Over his last three games, he has 13 receptions, 154 yards, and two touchdowns. He does, however, have a catch rate of only 37.7 percent which is way below average.

9.) Josh Doctson - Washington Redskins

Doctson was drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft and has emerged to be a great red zone target for Kirk Cousins. After missing most of his rookie season with an Achilles injury, Doctson has bounced back well with 24 catches, 354 yards, and five touchdowns.

8.) Cooper Kupp - Los Angeles Rams
Drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Kupp has been a great safety blanket for Jared Goff in the red zone and on third down. This season Kupp has 46 receptions, 597 yards, and three touchdowns. He leads all rookies this season in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns.

7.) Corey Coleman - Cleveland Browns
Coleman was the first wide receiver drafted in the 2016 NFL draft who has yet to live up to his 15th overall selection. He has played in only 14 games in his first two seasons due to injuries but when he has played he has shown that the talent is there but has suffered from poor quarterback play.

6.) JuJu Smith Schuster - Pittsburgh Steelers

The rookie sensation that is JuJu Smith-Schuster has taken over the NFL with his solid play and great humor on social media. He has stepped up huge this season, taking Martavis Bryant's job. This season he has 33 receptions, 568 yards, and five touchdowns.

5.) Corey Davis - Tennessee Titans
Davis was drafted fifth overall in the 2017 NFL Draft and due to a hamstring injury, it has limited his ability this season. He has 20 receptions for 215 yards and zero touchdowns in his NFL career but has shown flashes of elite wide receiver ability.

4.) Will Fuller - Houston Texans
Injuries have plagued Fuller's career but when he is on the field he is electric. This season he has played in six games, in those six games he has 17 receptions for 326 yards, and seven touchdowns.

3.) Sterling Shepard - New York Giants
Shepard was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft and in his rookie season, he scored eight touchdowns. He hasn't had that good of a season this year but I would blame that more on the Giants team, in general, more than Shepard. In his first 23 games, he has 103 receptions, 475 yards, and nine touchdowns.

2.) Tyreek Hill - Kansas City Chiefs
Hill is the most electric player in the NFL, every time he touches the ball we hold our breath. He is used in special teams and on the Chiefs. In 27 games he has 115 receptions, 1,319 yards,  ten touchdowns through the air and 40 carries for 327 yards and three touchdowns. He also has 58 returns for 753 yards and three touchdowns on special teams.

1.) Michael Thomas - New Orleans Saints

Michael Thomas is the best wide receiver in the NFL among the first and second-year receivers in the league. In his first 26 games, he has 162 catches, 1,942 yards, and 11 touchdowns. He was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft and Thomas has been marching all over NFL defenses.
