A great wild card weekend that featured the Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints & Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles. The San Francisco 49ers & Green Bay Packers have secured first round byes, with the 49ers owning home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Saints vs. Vikings went to overtime and didn’t disappoint. Drew Brees led New Orleans down the field to force overtime. Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill couldn’t beat the Vikings led by QB Kirk Cousins and RB Dalvin Cook. The game winning TD catch by TE Kyle Rudolph came on a controversial offensive PI call that the officials didn’t review. The Vikings advance to the divisional round to play the #1 seed 49ers. Can Cousins take down Brees and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Eagles vs. Seahawks wasn’t as exciting with only 26 points scored. Russell Wilson took the Seahawks into Philly and came out with a 17-9 win. D.K. Metcalf was great and Marshawn Lynch found the endzone. The story for the Eagles in this game was Carson Wentz was injured and Josh McCown was forced to step in. The Seahawks will now travel to Green Bay and battle the Packers.
