The San Francisco 49ers have publicly backed Jimmy Garoppolo all off season and yet somehow they’re always on the market for a new QB. Rumor has it that Kirk Cousins is now the top target for the San Francisco 49ers, NOT Tom Brady. Cousins played under Kyle Shanahan with the Washington Redskins and is set to become a free agent in 2021. ESPN’s Dianna Russini said that Cousins was almost the Niners QB back in 2018 when the team traded for Jimmy Garoppolo. Could Shanahan and Cousins be planning a reunion in San Francisco?
