The 2017 NFL Draft is over, which means it's time to grade every selection from every NFL team and take a look at the winners and losers. Below, we have grades for all 32 NFL teams in alphabetical order. Every team's selection is also listed below, with the round and overall pick included. It was very much a chaotic draft weekend, with plenty of surprise picks.
As for the grading, teams don't get a B just for showing up. A "B" is a good pick, while an "A" is a great pick. A "C" is not bad in my eyes, it's simply average. I'm a little harsher than some graders, with emphasis on value over filling need, but I'm trying to be nicer. And, I'm not factoring in trades made. That comes into play in a big way with the Patriots. This is all about the players picked in the actual draft. Obviously there is a lot of opinion here, so hit me up on Twitter if you disagree.
Arizona Cardinals - B-

I didn't love the Reddick pick. I would have preferred Reuben Foster and it's a bit early for the athletic freak who hasn't played as a ILB in a real game before. I'm a big Budda Baker guy, but I'm curious how he fits with Tyrann Mathieu. Williams went several rounds too early, especially with his off-the-field worries. I did love the Johnson pick, even with an apparent liver issue that dropped from a potential round two pick. Holden and Logan were solid picks and Ford could very well make the roster. It's not a great draft for Arizona, but they got some players who will help.
Atlanta Falcons - B-

The Falcons didn't have many picks this year, but they made some quality ones. The lack of volume hurts the grade a bit, but this is by no means a bad class. I like McKinley a lot, but moving up cost the Falcons some picks. Riley will play for the Falcons early, even if it's just on special teams. Harlow could start right away, but I thought the Falcons could have landed a better guard early. Kazee was a solid pick and he'll contribute. I actually really like Brian Hill, and even if it's not a big need, it was great value. Saubert was an average pick, but he could develop into a backup.
Baltimore Ravens - B

The Ravens did a great job upgrade the defense, but not so much on offense. Ozzie Newsome loves his Power 5 players, especially SEC guys. He got a CB who could be a good one in Marlon Humphrey, if his footwork can be fixed. I'm not a big Bowser guy, but he's a fit and this was the likely range for him. Wormley and Williams were really good picks in round three and they should help early. Williams could be better than Bowser if he stays clean off the field. Siragusa and Eluemunor could end up as passable starters or at least quality depth. Clark might be a special teams guy, especially with the Ravens' starters at safety in place. Joe Flacco needed another WR, but this is a pretty good class from the Ravens.
Buffalo Bills - B+

I loved moving down, but the Bills will be able to reap the benefits of that in next year's draft, so the grade doesn't really reflect that trade down. But, this was still a pretty great draft. White should start from Day 1 and this was the proper range for him. Jones might have been a slight reach for me, but he'll play early and be really good as a No. 2. Dawkins will start for the Bills at either guard or tackle. I hope he gets a shot at right tackle. I don't like Milano very much, but Vallejo was a steal. At the very least, he'll be a coverage linebacker. Peterman profiles as a backup to me, but in round 5, he's a solid pick. Buffalo did a solid job this year with three potential Day One starters and next year could be even better.

I like the players the Panthers took, but not really where they took them. McCaffrey and Samuel are going to be dynamic, but there's some overlap in skill set. Both have return abilities and can play RB and slot WR. They're needed weapons Cam Newton needed, but I worry how they'll fit together. This was the expected range for Moton, but he's a right tackle only and I don't love him. Hall fills a need, but it might have been a bit of a reach. I love Elder and he'll be a good fit in Carolina. That was my favorite pick. I didn't think Armah or Butker were draftable players, but it's late in the draft so whatever. Overall, this is an average class for me.

I loved the Bears draft last year and thought it was one of the best. The opposite is true this season. I don't like trading up for Mitchell Trubisky at all. I don't think he was worth that pick at all, especially given that Mike Glennon was signed to be the starter next year. Why spend the No. 2 pick (in a trade up) for a player who probably won't start. Then there's Shaheen, who has the size, but is raw. It's a reach and the Bears just gave Dion Sims a 3-year, $18 million deal, plus Zach Miller on the roster. I actually like the Eddie Jackson pick, but he's not going to play right away either. The Cohen pick made zero sense. I'm not high on him because he's so tiny and the Bears already go three-deep at RB. Morgan has some upside, but is still raw as well. The Bears needed impact players, instead they reached for players, and there's a real chance all six don't play much this year. There's only so much capital for teams to use with picks and salary cap and the Bears doubled up at all the wrong spots for no reason. I hope in five years I'm wrong, but this was a bad draft.

The Bengals have nailed their recent drafts, but I'm not a fan of this one. John Ross is DeSean Jackson 2.0, but he has major injury concerns and he's reach in the Top 10. And then to take Josh Malone in Round 4? That basically spells the end of Cody Core and the Bengals already have Tyler Boyd in the slot and paid $5 million this year for Brandon LaFell. That's not good use of capital and the Bengals used too much of it on whoever will be the No. 4 and 5 WRs. Joe Mixon is talented, but I don't like bringing in another troubled player who broke a woman's jaw. I actually love getting Jordan Willis and Carl Lawson: those were steals and more in the recent Bengals draft pick mold. Glasgow will provide depth, but it was a bit of a reach. K Jake Elliott, C J.J. Dielman and LB Jordan Evans fill needs, but there were better players on the board. Wilson will at least be one of the better special teams guys this year. Also, I'm surprised the Bengals basically ignored the offensive line and linebacker spot, two of their bigger needs. I don't like the Bengals first two picks or several others, but getting two great edge rushers helps save the grade. I hope I'm wrong about Ross and Mixon.

Once again, I love what the Browns did this year. Not only did they get the best player, I think they got the best QB in the draft in Kizer. And they only spent a second round pick on him. Peppers has some real upside and I think he could thrive in Cleveland. I don't love Njoku, but I think it was solid value. Ogunjobi could play early as a 3-technique, something the Browns really needed. Wilson has upside as a corner and the same is true of Johnson. Brantley was an interesting and surprising pick, since Sashi Brown himself said the team was still investigating Brantley and might not keep him. If he's cleared, it's a steal. If not, it could come back to haunt Cleveland. Gonzalez was the best kicker and he could start right away. Dayes is a favorite of mine, and he could end up as a rotation back. The Browns might have ended up with at least five starters from this draft before the year ends. I love what Cleveland is doing.

Dallas Cowboys - A

So Dallas need defensive help, huh? Charlton was great value and he could start right away. Taking Chidobe Awuzie and then Jourdan Lewis was an interesting move, as both might start in the nickel role. And with Orlando Scandrick there, it could spell the end of Scandrick's time in Dallas. Don't be surprise if Awuzie plays some safety early as well. Switzer is one of my favorite players this year and he has some Cole Beasley in him. Don't be surprised if he's the No. 5 WR this year and handles return duties. Woods was really good value, as were Noah Brown and Marquez White. Outside of maybe Joey Ivie and Jordan Carrell, the Cowboys got value with each pick. Of course, that assumes Jourdan Lewis' domestic violence case is cleared up. It's a he-said, she-said, so the Cowboys seem to think Lewis will be fine. The Cowboys nailed this draft and they should get impacts in the short-term and long-term from several guys.

This was an interesting draft for the Broncos. Bolles was their top target, but I don't love him. Walker is a curious fit for Denver and I thought he was a risk. Langley has upside, but is very raw and he went too early. However, I love the picks of Henderson and Butt, who will be key factors in the offense in a year or less. McKenzie was some play-making ability and could thrive on returns. I'm not a Henderson guy, while adding Kelly was an interesting move to say the least. I'm looking forward to seeing how $wag Kelly fares. He's a bigger Johnny Manziel.

I like Davis, and although I would have taken Reuben Foster, it's a solid pick. Teez Tabor is one of my favorite players. He's a steal in round two, despite speed worries. Kenny Golladay was a reach, as was Michael Roberts (not as bad though). But both could end up being solid players. Reeves-Maybin, if healthy, could be a stud. I liked the Lions getting two LBs. Ledbetter is a good athlete, but wasn't that productive. I'm surprised the Lions didn't add another pass rusher this year. Kaaya was a great pick and I think he'll be a really good backup. It's not a perfect draft, but I like what the Lions did this year.
Green Bay Packers - B-

I'm not big on King or Jones, but they fit the mold the Packers tend to like and it was the right range for them. I'm high on Adams, who could end up being a steal. Biegel should be a good fit in Green Bay and I really like Jamaal Williams. Then the Packers got a little weird. I don't care for Amichia and I doubt he makes the roster. The Packers ended up with three RBs, and although I like Aaron Jones, he might not make the roster. I don't think Mays will. Malachi Dupre was a nice pick and I think actually like him more than Yancey. There's nothing I really hate about this draft and nothing I'm truly in love with. It's just a solid draft.

If you like Watson, you probably like this draft. I don't like Watson and I think the Texans panicked when Patrick Mahomes went off the board. Cunningham was a really good pick, even if he might not start right away. I love the value of D'Onta Foreman, but I'm not sure how much he'll actually play with Lamar Miller. Still, I like it. Davenport is raw and needs time, but could turn into something. Watkins was a great value pick, while Decoud and Fuller provide decent depth. I hope I'm wrong about Watson, but he brings down what was otherwise a solid draft.

The Colts had one of the best drafts this year. Hooker and Wilson were amazing values and Basham was really good value as well. All three were fantastic picks. I'm not a huge Zach Banner guy because of weight problems, but there's some intrigue. The same is true of Grover Stewart, who could be a really good nose guard. I'm not big on Nate Hairston either, but getting Anthony Walker and Marlon Mack more than make up for it. I love Mack and I think he'll be able to replace Frank Gore and get some third down work this year. Walker should have gone in round four and he could easily be starting before the season ends. A fantastic first draft for Chris Ballard.

The new plan for the Jags' offense is clear: run the football. And the first two picks did just that for the Jags, as Leonard Fournette and Cam Robinson is one of the better round 1-2 picks this year. Smoot was solid value and the Jags needed another pass rusher. I don't like Dede Westbrook at all, both in terms of ability and off-the-field concerns. He has a history of domestic violence and reportedly got kicked out of a 15-minute combine meeting. He's a one-dimensional deep threat and did the Jags even need another WR? Brown and Myrick were proper value and nice depth. The Jags did a really good job this year, even with Westbrook. The talent on the roster is there, it's up to Blake Bortles to not mess it up.
Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech (Rd. 1, Pick 10)
Tanoh Kpassagnon, DL, Villanova (Rd. 2, Pick 59)
Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo (Rd. 3, Pick 86)
Jehu Chesson, WR, Michigan (Rd. 4, Pick 139)

This entire draft (and next year's to an extent) comes down to Mahomes. If he succeeds, it's a great move. If not, the Chiefs hurt themselves. Mahomes is a risk, but the upside might be worth it. Kpassagnon might not start right away, but I think he's gonna make a really good 3-4 DE. Hunt and Chesson were slight reaches with better players on the board, but I think they'll be solid players. McQuay is an intriguing selection late. He didn't play a ton, but has many of the traits teams want. He could end up as a sleeper pick. This draft, in five years, I think ends up as an 'A' or an 'F.' So for the time being, the Chiefs get a 'C.'

Los Angeles Chargers - B+

I was a bit worried after round one for the Chargers, because although I'm a big Mike Williams guy, my fear was the Chargers would miss out on bigger needs. They did not, and got great value. Lamp and Feeney could start right away and the Chargers somehow netted the top two guards in this year's class, filling a massive need. I don't love Jenkins that much, but this was the right range and he could become a starter. Desmond King was a total steal, whether he plays as a zone corner or a safety. Rochell could develop into a role player. This isn't quite an 'A' draft, but a 'B+' is still a really good draft.

I don't really get this draft for the Rams. Everett was a reach, although it does fill a need. I like Kupp a lot, but my fear is he ends up as another slot WR, which the Rams have plenty of. Johnson was an average pick. Reynolds brings some and size and was a good pick, as was Tanzel Smart. Ebukam is a project and might have gone too early, but Wade Phillips could turn him into something good. Rogers is a personal favorite and I like getting a FB for Jared Goff and Todd Gurley. I want Price to be good in the NFL, but I worry he's just too undersized. I actually prefer the late round picks are better than the first few and that's not a good thing. The lack of a first hurt this grade.
Miami Dolphins - A+

This is one of the best drafts this year. Miami filled all of their top needs and got great value along the way. Harris was strong value and he'll be a starter before long. McMillan might start right away, and it was the right range for him. Tankersley could have gone in round two and I would have been a big fan. Getting him in round three was a steal. Asiata could play early and I thought he could have gone on late Day 2. Godchaux and Taylor were solid value and the Dolphins needed DL help. I'm a big Isaiah Ford fan, so this is really good value. The Dolphins crushed this draft.

I never would have thought the Vikings would get an A from me with no first round pick. But that's what happened. They got a first round player in Dalvin Cook, who will share time with Latavius Murray. Elflein was a round two player for me, who should start at guard before taking over for Joe Berger at center. If Sharrif Floyd's career ends because of his knee, Johnson could take over. The only two picks I don't like are Gedeon and Adams, but they ended up with great picks later on in Stacy Coley and Elijah Lee. Both Lee and Bucky Hodges were amazing picks and I thought Hodges was one of the best picks in the entire draft based on value. I had a round two grade on him. Isidora could start at some point and Odenigbo and Tocho are added depth. Despite not having a first rounder, the Vikings made their team a lot better.
New England Patriots - D (A+)

Before the Pats fans attack me, this grade isn't factoring in the trades for Brandin Cook, Kony Ealy, Dwayne Allen and so on. If I did, it's an A. But based only on the picks made, the Pats were playing with a bad hand. I actually do like the picks for Rivers and Garcia and they could be pretty damn good in a few years. Garcia might move to guard early for the Pats, but could play tackle. I'm not a huge Wise fan, but I think he'll fit well in New England. McDermott could be a future swing tackle, but he might not make the roster either. I'm surprised they didn't add a corner. The Pats, based only one these four players, get a D. Factor in the trades, it's an A+.

When the Saints took Marshon Lattimore, I thought they were in position to end up with one of the best draft classes this year. That did not happen. The Saints wanted Reuben Foster, but the 49ers stole him and they panicked and took who I think was the top guy left on their board in Ryan Ramczyk. The problem is that the Saints really didn't need an OT and had way bigger needs. Marcus Williams is a good player, so don't hate it, although safety wasn't a need unless Kenny Vaccaro is a goner or sliding to nickel more. Alvin Kamara was a major head-scratcher, as the Saints traded a future pick to take their 3rd string RB. It was solid value, but waiting until the end of round 3 for an edge rusher was a bad move. I don't love Henderickson, and he might not be a true starter. Muhammad has some upside, but major character concerns after getting kicked off the Miami team. He was undrafted player for me. Anzalone has some real talent, but he can't stay healthy. It was too early for him. The Saints started well, but I don't like this draft very much. It was a blown opportunity for the Saints. They took good players, but not at the right value and didn't fill needs properly.

The Giants draft confused me. After trying like hell last offseason to get another OT, the Giants passed on several good ones and waited until round 6 to get a player in Bisnowaty who will likely end up as a swing tackle. That was actually probably my favorite pick of the Giants, because I don't like much else. Engram was a reach in both overall value and positional value. Tomlinson was a reach as well and I question his fit as a run stuffer with Damon Harrison already on the roster. It was a need, but how about a more disruptive player? I'm not a big Davis Webb guy, but at least this was round 3 and not round 1. Gallman was a solid pick and Moss was an okay one. Once again, the Giants ignored linebacker, like they do almost every year. I'm not a fan of this draft at all, as the Giants ignored their two biggest needs to take lesser players.

This was a pretty strange draft from the Jets. They took two strong safeties with their first two picks: Adams was a great pick, Maye was a reach. Then, it was two WRs in Stewart and Hansen. I feel better about those two, and I loved the Hansen pick. But spending the first four picks on S and WR? That's weird and not great use of draft capital. I really like the Leggett pick, but thought both Donahue and McGuire were reaches. Clark and Jones are both CBs and they'll have to fight to make the roster. I really like some of these guys purely as players, but the fit and the value don't make much sense. An odd draft gets a 'C-' from me.

If Gareon Conley checks out clean after the rape accusation, and the Raiders are convinced he will, it's a great pick. The grade reflects the assumption that he will, but that's not 100 percent clear. He'll play immediately as a slot corner. Obi Melifonwu will play in certain packages and was a steal. Vanderdoes has some impressive upside, but he wasn't the same player last year following an injury. Sharpe will find a role somewhere on the OL, but I'm not sure where or if it's as a starter. Lee filled a big need, but the Raiders needed more help at the position. And the lack of LBs take is what stops this pick from being an A. I do like Hood and he could be a solid player once Marshawn Lynch retires for good.

There weren't many lukewarm picks for the Eagles for me. Barnett didn't fill a massive need, but it was really good value and he could play a big role early as a pass rush. I loved the Eagles next two picks. Sidney Jones was a first round talent who fell because of a torn Achilles. He might miss some time early, but he's a future No. 1 CB. Douglas was solid value and fits the Eagles mold perfectly But, I didn't like the Eagles' picks of Hollins and Pumphey. Hollins has the size, speed and special teams ability, but he wasn't that productive at UNC and it was a reach. Pumphrey is too small to go in Round 4 and the Eagles already have enough scat backs. I loved the Gibson pick and think he'll be better as a deep threat and pure WR than Hollins. Gerry was a reach, but I'm higher than almost anyone on Qualls. I think he makes the roster and could end up being a key rotation guy. It's not quite an 'A' Draft, but this is a really good job from the Eagles.

Watt filled a big need for the Steelers and that was the right range for him. Smith-Schuster is an interesting fit in Pittsburgh, but they did need help. I'm lukewarm on the value and fit, however. I love the Sutton and Allen picks at corner. Sutton will play first, but Allen might have more upside, although he's far more raw. Dobbs was decent enough value and he'll carve out a long NFL career as at least a backup with his intelligence. Conner was a reach, and although he's a great story, I worry about his speed. Why bother taking a long-snapper, especially with the big hole at ILB unfilled.

Up until the C.J. Beathard pick, the Niners had killed this draft. They moved down and still got Solomon Thomas and then landed the best round one value in Reuben Foster. Witherspoon was the proper range and he's a perfect fit in the 49ers' new scheme. But Beathard was a terrible pick. He couldn't even complete 60 percent of his passes over his career, I'm not sold on his arm strength (although it's not terrible), he regressed this year and should not have been drafted. Williams, if he wants to keep playing after retiring earlier in his career, could be a nice piece, although it was a reach. I love getting George Kittle and Trent Taylor, even if Taylor was a slight reach. Colbert has the size to play corner or safety. This was a pretty strong start for John Lynch as GM, but the Beathard pick costs the 49ers a straight-up A.

The top need for the Seahawks was the offensive line, so naturally they took jut two players while adding two defensive linemen and three safeties. It was a weird draft, again, for Seattle. McDowell's effort issues scare me, but he could be a great 4-3 3-technique for Seattle. Pocic was a center at LSU, but he has to play elsewhere for Seattle. He's too tall, so hopefully he starts at either guard or tackle. Griffin was a slight reach, but he fits in Seattle. Delano Hill, Mike Tyson, David Moore and Chris Carson were bad picks (less so for round seven, because it is round seven). They all could have gone undrafted and no one would have been that surprised. I do like getting Darboh, Nones and Thompson though. All three should make the roster and make an impact at some point. I wish Seattle had added another OT than just Justin Senior.

I love this Bucs draft. Howard was a steal at No. 19 and he'll start right away. Evans was a quality pick and he could be really good for the Bucs in the near future, as could Godwin. Beckwith fits the Bucs and he'll be an early contributor as the third LB. McNichols is undersized, but could carve out a role as a third down back. Tu’ikolovatu could end up as a run-stuffer for the Bucs, which they could use on the roster. The Bucs only had six picks, but I at least like each one. There were no reaches and the Bucs filled needs. They're gonna be really good next year.

I like the guys the Titans added, but much like the Panthers, not so much where. Davis fills a huge need, but I don't think he was worth a top 5 pick. The same is true of Adoree' Jackson, who could end up as an electric corner and return man. Taylor was a good-not-great pick and he'll be a strong slot option. Smith was a reach, with several better TEs on the board. The rest of the picks don't move the needle for me, outside of Carraway, who was decent value. Seaton and Muhammad were not players I thought would be drafted. The Titans got some good players, but it's not as great a draft as it could have been. Still, they could be really good next year.

The Jonathan Allen pick was one of the best in round one, but the rest of the draft was more average for the Redskins. Anderson fills a future need, but I thought there were better players. I really like Fabian Moreau in Round 3 and he could play early for Washington. I'm not a big Perine fan, but the Redskins needed another RB. I thought Nicholson and Sprinkle were reaches based on who else was on the board. Roullier might end up as starter in the near future. Harvey-Clemons reminds me of Su'a Cravens, so I'm curious how he'll fare in Washington. It's a solid draft for the Redskins, headlined by Allen, but it's not an elite class.
