Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys “have mutual interest” in reuniting, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. A contract has yet to be agreed upon.
Elliott spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Cowboys, where he was consistently one of the NFL’s top running backs. The 28-year-old was released by the team that drafted him in March last year and joined New England on a one-year deal in mid-August.
Despite playing all 17 games for the Patriots last season, Elliott produced career lows across the board.
