Drake Maye has spoken with the New England Patriots multiple times leading up to the 2024 NFL draft, and those conversations have all been productive.
Whether that leads to the Patriots taking the North Carolina quarterback prospect at No. 3 overall in the 2024 NFL draft, assuming he’ll even still be there, remains to be seen.
“They’ve been great,” said Maye, when speaking about the Patriots on Thursday. “Coach [Jerod] Mayo, obviously, first year head coach. Congrats to him. Just been in there talking to the new offensive coordinator, with [Alex] Van Pelt and learning their stuff.
