There was a rumor yesterday that he could have been moved to the Denver Broncos for a second round pick, but Robert Kraft announced the trade this morning.

The Patriots are clearing making the OL a focus after drafting Georgia G Isaiah Wynn with pick #23 overall in the 1st round. The Patriots are attempting to fill the hole left by Nate Solder, who left the Patriots this offseason to sign a deal with the New York Giants.

For the 49ers, this move is not very surprising after drafting OT Mike McGlinchey from Notre Dame last night with the 9th overall pick. They expect him to take over at right tackle while Joe Staley continues to man the fort at left tackle.
