I’m not sure if Sarah Harness has a nickname, but if things keep going the way they have, people are gonna be calling this young lady Advil.
For the second day in a row, Harness came on in relief of a struggling Kaylin Kinney and for the second day in a row, she shut an early scoring Gopher team down until the Huskers bats could figure out a weaker Minnesota staff and pummel them in the later innings.
Friday night, Harness held them to two 7th inning runs in a 7-6 victory. Then, on a chilly but beautiful Saturday afternoon, she entered the game with one out in the first and cruised through the remaining 6 2⁄3 innings scattering 7 hits and only allowing one run.
