Some of the best news that Lakers have received in a while is that Paul Gasol will not have to undergo surgery anytime soon.
Regardless, Pau's foot is still bugging him and will sideline him for quite some time. It is expected that Gasol will have to sit out somewhere between 6-8 weeks before he is fully recovered.

"He's fine," said head coach Mike D'Antoni. "He's on crutches and he'll probably be there for a while but we'll get him back as soon as we can."
If he did opt for surgery, he most likely would be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
