Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy is confident that his skills will transition into to the NFL

The Kansas City Chiefs’ first practice of their 2024 rookie minicamp got underway on Saturday afternoon, observed only by the team’s coaches and some reporters. Fans will just have to wait a little longer to see the team’s newest players — including first-round wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who might be the most eagerly anticipated.

While the NFL Scouting Combine’s 40-yard dash record breaker is gearing up to catch bombs from quarterback Patrick Mahomes, he must first absorb the team’s complex offensive scheme.

But after just a few days with the team’s playbook, Worthy is already starting to feel comfortable with it — thanks (in part) to Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian.
