earned her second OVC Golfer of the Month award on Monday, claiming the honor for the month of March after posting a 71.9 average over eight rounds and three tournaments during the month.
Dawson – who also won the award in October – started the month with a second-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic with rounds of 70-71-73 to finish 2-under 214, helping the Trojans finish fourth as a team.
A week later at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Nevada, Dawson celebrated her 21st birthday with her first collegiate victory, finishing 8-under 208. Her final round score of 66 tied the program record and helped the Trojans to a second-place team finish.
