NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the second-straight night, Yale educated the Sun Devils in overtime at Ingalls Rink, defeating ASU 4-3.
The game unfolded nearly the same as Friday, with the Bulldogs (11-11-1) outshooting the Sun Devils through the first 20 minutes and sophomore goaltender Joey Daccord keeping ASU in the game. The only difference was the Sun Devils were the ones battling back to tie the game on three, separate occasions.
"It's always good to battle back," said head coach Greg Powers. "We know we have resilience. It's a disappointing one with another mistake in overtime.
