TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Hockey picked up their fifth tie of the season on Friday night, as they battled to a 2-2 draw with the Quinnipiac Bobcats at Oceanside Ice Arena. Redshirt junior Louie Rowe blasted a shot to win the 3-on-3 overtime portion of the game.
ASU (7-13-5) is now 3-1-1 in their last five games, and came one swift swing away from putting a tick in the win column with just 17 seconds remaining in the 5-on-5 portion of overtime.
"That's a good effort, a good hockey game, and was a fun hockey game for everybody here," said head coach Greg Powers.
